Fall season preview - I need a strategy to restrain my anime viewing

First of all, I revamped Heterochromia’s blogroll after I discovered that Heterochromia is linked by Nigorimasen. *_* This kind of makes me think back of those times when I have dreamed of Heterochromia to be linked by all those people whose blogs I enjoy and who I have linked on my blogroll, and then one day, I realized that I was on all of them, haha. How happy.

Anyways, back to topic. While everyone and their sister (*hint hint*) is at Otakon, I realized that there are way, way too many series I am looking forward to again. It’s been ages since I have felt like that, looking back at my archive, the last really exciting season for me was Spring 2007. That’s why I decided to bring another season post - the kind of postings I actually have enjoyed the most during my whole blogging time.

In fact, I find this season to be suprisingly interesting. Perhaps I should start checking back at Antenna or Animenano for new blogs when the season starts - I expected quite a few of them to come up.

Must-watch

Ranka´s show

Fang-tan Ranka

The two latest episodes have been mainly about Ranka. Sheryl pulled a fast one on Alto giving him a birthday present of a world that does indeed have a sky so that he can fly in it.

Kurenai ep 12: “I decide who can stick it in!”

Greetings! The vast majority of you will not know me at all, the rest will know me as “Milkmaster”, my old nickname. So I have some level of acquaintance with Sasa as you may guess from the recent drama (don’t even try to bring it up, it’s the past) and now that she’s on hiatus I decided to give it a shot or two, which means that I could stop at any time, regardless if someone likes my scribblings or not.

Now, to the point of this post, the last episode of Kurenai. It just sucked so much I had to write about it.

Pip is out until friday - the bitchfest ported to the personal level

Edit: A little “schedule change”: Pip is out until Saturday, because he needs to catch up with sleep on Friday. You know, other people actually have lives and things to do, itsubitch. Get a life.

This is for Milkmaster and Pip: So, I have spoken to itsubun telling her that there is nothing I want her to do or would ask of her, except for not doing anything anymore. Unfortunately, something happened. I’m just here to announce that the said Pip is going to be busy until Friday, and God save me from showing him these ridiculous attacks before he is free again. If ever he feels like saying something about the outrageous, immature and inappropriate way this bitchfest has ported to personal attacks (what do my relationships have to do with the whole story?), it’s going to be after Friday.

So this is a shitstorm…

Opening remark because apparently some people are too stupid to have a look at the prominent sidebar: This is not Sasa, I repeat: This is not Sasa!

Because itsubitch managed to screw up her own comment form this will have to go here:

So this is goodbye

I have decided to to stop anime blogging. Whenever I feel like writing on anime, I might do so on my original blog, About Chocolate Parfaits (that has mainly turned into a movie blog today). Whoever is interested in the reasons can ask me personally through e-mail, commenting or IRC.
It is possible that I might start aniblogging regularily again, but only if there suddenly comes a new concept I find interesting, such as shifting to blogging on manga, or going back to blogging episodically. Until then, blog postings are only written on specific demand.

Lots of “thank you”s and embarassing remarks after the cut, if you allow me ;)

Looking back at one week in the blogosphere #4

You might notice that this post comes early by one day. However, I really wanted to get this post done today, and you will see in my next entry why ;) Pictures also might be added whenever I feel like it.

I don’t really want to talk about the Akihabara stabbing stories anymore, since everybody and their mother commented on it (including myself on Osu’s post).

A chinese rip-off… again?

Okay, I have laughed quite well when I saw the Vii, and this Disney rip-off theme park is just so funny as well, but there are rip-offs that are much smaller and much less obvious, although very clearly copied.

I have been a huge fan of the Kare Kano soundtrack and I used to listen to it a lot. Now, I discovered this interesting chinese animation project that turned out to be fairly interesting indeed, but then I had to realize that the background music was shamelessly copied from the Kare Kano soundtrack.
To download the .swf of the first episode from this site, you have to click on that orange arrow to get to another site, there you have to click on the next orange arrow that opens another window/tab and finally you will find 3 mirrors under the green arrow.

People’s choice ABA match = ZERO

I, Luluko V. Britannia, command you to vote for these blogs next time! *flourish*

As I have just mentioned, here are some comments on the People’s Choice results of the Anime Blogging Awards. The results aren’t all that surprising to me, but I must honestly say that I was shocked how this list is completely different from my own personal opinion. Let’s see:

Looking back at one week in the blogosphere #3

Pip proposed to make this week wedding dress themed.
He also chose the majority of these pictures.

This week is a week of failure. The world is bad.
1. I deleted this blog post right before I finished it (stupid hotkeys), so I have to start over again. Sorry for rambling.
2. There is no Geass.
3. A bunch of people have gone on hiatus, including hayase and Garten whose father has passed away. Also, zaitcev says that Hinano is in front of a burn-out, and now that I think about it, there are quite a few people who have actually really gone on hiatus (such as natsuneko).
(About Memento, I’ll allow myself to say something impious here: among the many kind comments of condolescence, there are few bloggers. It’s interesting to see how Memento is a large, popular blog, yet Garten does not interact all that much with other bloggers. Same for Random Curiosity.)
4. Hinano hates me. On the day Osu hates me, I’ll kill myself.
