Another annotated blogroll

First of all, the linking policy for appearing on the sidebar:
1. You link Heterochromia (with a working link *cough*) on your sidebar and/or on an annotated blogroll.
2. AND you don’t link to a certain other blog which name is a secret. It’s obviously not zaitcev, my rage against that person runs much deeper, believe it. So deep that I hide it ;) Ultimately, the smaller your blogroll is, the more likely it is that I’ll link you
3. OR you have a blog I actually really like to read. (The nostalgy and/or friends bonus, to be exact.)
In sum, you get linked at my blog if you fulfill either 1+2 or 3 or 1+2+3.

According to the seemingly british tradition of keeping an annotated blogroll, here is mine. The specialty of my descriptions is that I try to only include aspects that I think Heterochromia (or me) has in common with the respective blog. Also, I apologize for my less erudite writing style compared to those who have a similarily annotated blogroll. I also apologize for the sheer volume of blogs, but: Credit goes to where credit is due.

  • Anime Desho Desho? - Hirano Aya and Granado Espada love. Now tsubaki has sold himself to TJ, see RIUVA.
  • Anime Diet -
  • Anime Infatuation - Hazel is cute, hot and has a impeccable anime taste. Also, her blogging style is very original and she brought the great “2006 anime that have not been fansubbed” series. Okay, I admit that I’m not cute and hot, and I never wrote out some great blog postings, but I had to mention this while describing Hazel. Please forgive me.
  • anime|otaku - Hemingway, Camus, Joyce. It’s the famous authors that we both enjoy, while Mike is able to include much more obscure literature in his thoughtful blog postings than me.
  • Ani-nouto - A guy who names himself Author and was given the name zaitcev. We have nothing in common besides that we are tsun for each other.
  • Azure Flame Reloaded - Female, graduated in a non-typically girlish major, Karura watches an amazing variety of shows and thus advanced to one of my favourite blogs.
  • Baka-Raptor - Just like I am the alter ego of itsubun, Baka-Raptor is the alter ego of Lolikit. (His funny and well-versed writing style makes him the only blog I read although the style looks horrible. Intentionally horrible, I suppose.)
  • Beta-Waffle -
  • bluemist anime blog -
  • brain food lunch -
  • caitlinomara.com -
  • Chotto Matte! -
  • Cinnamon Ass -
  • Cruel Angel Theses -
  • Cute Proxy’s Anime Rants -
  • Daijoubu
  • Derailed by Darry
  • Drastic My Anime Blog
  • Epic Win - Kaiji love. Epic Win would be able to even make blogging about Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou funny. (I’m not, of course.)
  • Ex-Fansubber Hitorigeto -
  • Flash In The Pantsu -
  • Gnostic Lone Wolf Poetry -
  • HappySoda -
  • Hashihime -
  • Heisei Democracy -
  • Hige vs. Otaku
  • Hopeless Sensei’s blog -
  • In Search of Number Nine -
  • Itsumo Anime Blog
  • Japanese words of anime fans, by anime fans, for anime fans
  • Kita ze Inbou! -
  • Kurogane’s Anime Blog -
  • MangaBlog - Okay, Brigid did not link to my most recent article on Matt Thorn’s scanlated Hanshin. However, she is doing an outstandingly brilliant job with her blog, collecting everything in the manga blogosphere.
  • Matthew’s Anime Blog -
  • meidocafe - German, just like me. The fact that he writes in german makes me feel sorry for the whole non-german speaking world, because his postings are incredibly witty, easy to digest and original. Or maybe you need a german-otaku-sense-of-humour to find him funny? Also, he thinks that the world is bad though, too sad.
  • mellowSPACE -
  • Memento - I’m going to drop out of my pattern: Besides a similar anime taste (Honey & Clover et al.), Memento is the reason why I started to blog, it’s one of the very few blogs where I went to back to read the archive and it deserves no.1 spot in “Best Episodic Blog” on the ABA. That’s why the ABA fail.
  • Minaide! Hazukashii - We like movies and our significant other makes us watch anime. (Crappy old shows in the case of JP, Code Geass R2 without having watched season 1 in the case of myself.)
  • Moe Moe Rabu -
  • Moggling - My newest discovery, Moggling is mainly posted pictures, but what kinds of images! It’s the Crème de la crème of danbooru, and very well chosen.
  • Momotato Daioh! - Basically it’s Azumanga Daioh and Yotsubato! love. This is the very first anime blog I have ever read, and stumbled upon it while leeching Momotato’s Yotsubato! scanlations.
  • Mou Yamete! -
  • Natsukashii - Rebirth of a lot of great people and old names: Osu and I are yuriyuri for Pip, Anna and I read a lot of manga, Ten and I are the same age and well female, Matte and I share a similar anime taste.
  • Neko’s thinkbox -
  • Nigorimasen!
  • notdotq -
  • Novastorm -
  • Okazu - Erica and I are members of you Yuricon Y! Group. But unlike me, Erica is one of the main drivers of the yuri world in the US, both on the internet and with her company ALC Publishing. Wow. She’s some leadership person, y’know.
  • Omonomono -
  • orz -
  • Random Curiosity -
  • RIUVA -
  • Ruki: The Running Blog -
  • Star Crossed Anime Blog -
  • Strangely Common Anime Blog -
  • Stuff Happens -
  • THAT -
  • The Animanachronism - The most remarkable similarity between IKnight and I (and by extension, Pip) is the preference for a sophisticated, minimalistic, white blog theme. Unlike Heterochromia, The Animanachronism’s theme reflects its content and writer.
  • The Anime Almanach -
  • The Anime Blog - I am a lover of japanese food and crave for them, while Rachel successfully makes them herself coupled with news and insights into licensed US anime.
  • The End of the World - Lover of gothic lolita, good romance stories, alternative music and Murakami, my laudatio on Martin’s blog has no end. It is a blog on which I read every single entry, and there probably are no more than 3 of these.
  • The Fool - Basically what this blog shares with Heterochromia is… our dear manga.
  • The Nonbiri Times -
  • The Ramblings of DarkMirage -
  • The Scrumptious Anime Blog -
  • Tokyo Jupiter/2 Screenshot Limit - As I mentioned, we both read manga and apparently prefer no more than two screenshots per post/episode. When I used to do episodic blogging, I actually really stuck to it.
  • transientem -
  • Wakaranai -
  • Yukan Blog -
  • … To be continued.
