As I have just mentioned, here are some comments on the People’s Choice results of the Anime Blogging Awards. The results aren’t all that surprising to me, but I must honestly say that I was shocked how this list is completely different from my own personal opinion. Let’s see:

Best Editorial Blog - The Animanachronism
Best Team Blog - RIUVA
Best Manga Blog - Manga Maniac Cafe
Most Influential Blog - Memento
Rookie of the Year - Natsukashii, if too new, I’d say Baka-Raptor
Best Dorama - Ani-Nouto
Funniest Blog - notdotq of the rebellion
Best Satire Blog - Azure Flame
Best Seiyuu-Orientated Blog - hashihime
Most Thought-Provoking Blog - The End of the World
Best Blog-related Comic - Beta-Waffle
Best Figurine Blog - HappySoda
I have no favourites for “Best Art/Doujin/Visual Novel Blog” and Best News Blog” because I’m not into these.
The winning blogs are great and most of them are follow-ups of these I listed. However, with around 100 blogs I’m reading, it’s probably not surprising anymore that my personal favourites are not the “big names”.
