Alto-hime´s secret is out!!

Some revelations, some worthless fighting(when you watch the ep you go WTF why are they doing this?) and wow, epic episode.

Apparently Alto-hime is indeed the princess we see in the opening as he acted in a play as a princess.

Lots of laughter and stuff here. But above all finally a ep that focuses on Ranka. As Mao Nome from Macross Zero. For coverage of the resemblances of Zero and how they did it in Frontier, click here. I have to say that I agree with Darkmirage on everything except the “>”s.

For the ep, well since they are shooting a movie based on Macross Zero we all kinda know what´s going to happen so I won´t talk about that. What I want to focus on more is some certain scenes.

She says this to Ranka. Well atleast Ranka didn´t sleep around with the judges to win by “attributes” like this bitch did.

Sheryl is a true star, and with the songs she´s written so far I agree, it doesn´t fit well with ARKAN from Macross Zero, wrong rythm. But what is more intresting is what happends afterwards

Sheryl walks right past the “Miss Macross” winner and says hello to Ranka. I loled and man it is so fitting that she does it. Ranka is way better than that bitch.

The battles scene, well I´ll ignore that since it was the biggest WTF moment so far in this show. Surely it´s chliche and all but why ruin it by having Ranka go of and get attacked by probably a Vajra/Chimera hybrid and have Alto fail miserably at saving her and the mysterious pilot of the red valkyrie save her, showing of that he is indeed part robot?

Oh well, highlights of the episode?

Ranka getting to sing the movie theme with her Aimo song, and then getting to appear on stage with the director helping her up to stage, a great dress I must say.

Sheryl confessing her love to Alto with a kiss in broad daylight!!

No wait, she´s just playing with him thanks to his “It´s only a kiss” and that it wouldn´t have any deeper meaning than that… I want to kill Alto, I really do. A kiss is a whole lot of meanings, sure it´s on film but with Sheryl and Ranka on the scene you don´t say that. Freaking idiot.

And for me it doesn´t look like it´s just any kiss to Sheryl either, not with that cute blush on her face, but oh well if she says so. Tsundere girls can be quite bothersome sometimes, but we all love them right?

Ranka understands why Mao kissed Shin who her sister Sara loved and takes the role of Mao, and whoa, she can be quite agressive if she wants to. I wonder what whould have happened more if there hadn´t been any cameras filming everything

Or even better, what if they had been alone in the forest? Go Ranka go!!

I don´t know why, but Ozma says this as he watches the list of actors for the movie. Would that incline that he knows the real Mao and have meet her? Or that Sheryl and Ranka are somewhat related?

I really hope that we will get some answers soon instead of just getting more and more questions since there is a lot of stuff going on here and well I don´t know about everyone else but I want some answers!!

Finally, apparently there are no Macross Frontier Episode next week so we´ll have to wait untill 19th June to watch the next episode I wonder why. This ep except for the fighting scene was made of pure win and well, lots of epic stuff happening. I just love Macross Frontier!!
