Heterochromia

Phew, well, the episode is so-so and gave some motivation back to continue writting about each episode, but only some. Not so much that I´ll take like 40 screencaps again, it wasn´t that much brilliance as the earlier eps, but a little.

stalking loli behind a tree? Jailbait!!

A Michael episode, trying to charm Grace he get´s a killing blow, apparently Michael has some deep siscon going way back since he´s shocked(yeah, his sister is dead). Then during a mission he can´t fire, and when he do fire, he almost blows Alto-hime´s mechahead of clean. Enter some disturbing mecha trying to be human gesture with a closed fist and all followed by the usual stuff when it´s this kind of personal focused episode.

Yeah, some short background info about why Michael freaked out, more deep bonding between him and Alto-hime. Makes you wonder if Alto-hime will charm everyone on the S.M.S team since he´s already charmed Luca and Michael… Along with Klan of course. And Ranka and Sheryl. Damn playboy Alto!!

But back on topic, Klan is a kinda funny character, when she´s in Zentradi form she´s big as a house, but when she´s in miclone form she´s a loli? How should we talk about her? Since she´s got followers… I do feel sorry for her, liking Michael and he doesn´t even know it, he´s an even bigger blockhead than Hikari from Special A.

What was the best point of this episode though? The following sequence with Klan and Micheal.

Made me laugh and cry at the same time, laugh since Klan wouldn´t have anything against it and cry since Michael is such a big stupid fuck.

Ever since the first macross I´ve liked the Female zentradi battle suits, to have Klan being somewhat of an ace is pretty fun. But she shouldn´t make such simple misstakes, you should always keep in mind the debris when you´re fighting in an asteroid field.

Grace seems to be the mastermind behind everything evil going on though, take a look at her face when she smiles and you´ll see: She´s pure EVIL I SAY!!
but that´s just my thoughts at this moment. Wouldn´t be any suprise if she´s the one taking Ranka´s jobs as well…

If I wanted to promote a new idol, I wouldn´t give her a bathing suit and cat ears… makes you think of a complete different work than an idol.

That´s basically what I have to say about this ep. Next ep is a flashback for me since we´ll visit the island where Macross Zero takes place. Atleast it seems like that, and with a comment over at Kurogane pointing out that the sisters last name in Macross Zero is Nome, the same as Sheryl´s last name it would have to mean something.

The big question is how they have linked Macross Frontier and Macross Zero together. Hopefully the next ep will give us the answer to that.
