The last one was 5 months ago! O.o Let’s see how many new series I have finished since then, I don’t think it’s that much *cough* This is also a reason why I didn’t do a “look back at 2006″ post even though 2006 definitely was a good anime year.

Even though I enjoyed Simoun so much and have become a real Simoun fangirl, it apparently is not possible for an anime to enter my top 10 anymore. (Actually this is not even my top 10 of all time, but only includes anime from 2005!) It doesn’t mean that Simoun was bad (it had some flaws, but on the other hand was so perfectly marvelous), but only that there were so many better series!
12. Zero no Tsukaima
Lo~li-chan! 13 episodes was way too short and we are glad to see more of it this summer. It’s so much fun to watch this anime which (unlike Kemonozume) has remained good until the end. It also has the most generic, but at the same time lovely characters *_*

I have started to watch Noir years ago and finally finished it. What I heard has turned out to be right: The last 6 episodes were simply boring, muchly unlike Madlax where the last episodes had some interesting revelations and turned out to be very consistent with the storyline before. However, Noir had a lot of gorgeous episodical stories (I especially loved episode 6, the one with the old man and the cat) that I still consider it a very good anime. I will take a look at El Cazador too - I just can’t get my eyes away from the Noir/Madlax style.
