Heterochromia

Sunako-chan needs more love! But unfortunately, this anime has turned out so crappy T_T It has the potential to become a second Ouran and the directoring is good, but the art just makes my heart hurt *snif* By the way, I will never call this anime “Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge” simply because I think it’s way too long.

It’s been ages since I’ve read the manga, and I know that I used to like it for the first 4 volumes… then, I kind of lost interest and didn’t continue reading it anymore. But I love the Hayakawa Tomoko’s drawings and I adore her untypically funny stories - it’s definitely not a your typical shôjo, just like Ouran. But unlike Ouran, this anime has gotten one hell of a bad treatment… the boys look totally dorky, the animation looks crap, the colours are absolutely awful and the atmosphere is… non-existing.

The best of the anime is still Sunako, who, unlike the boys, has a distinct and interesting character. This is another weakness this story has compared to Ouran *g* - there, the characters are very stereotypical, but there at least is a character that makes them unique. In Perfect Girl, they all look the same and act the same and together, ugh.
Sunako, however, is a lovely untypical protagonist, a dark goth loli and pseudo-emo <3 She’s a bit too obsessed with Halloween - did I ever mention that I hate Halloween more than anything? (Which makes it even weirder why I love this picture and want Asuna’s outfit *haha*)

I don’t know whether I’ll continue watching this, but it’s more likely that I won’t. I’d suggest to read the manga and I’m thinking of picking it up again *hrr*
