Today, I have taken my time to watch Koi Kaze, and it turned out exactly like I have expected. Its pace is rather slow and I really enjoy the calming atmosphere. It’s not like it’s boring at all, even though I know the story already. I think this is mainly due to the great background music. It’s not particularily *good* music, but it matches the story and the animation perfectly.
Koushiro’s ex is as beautiful as expected. But actually she seemed much more sparkling in the manga… in this version, she seems rather miserable and sad. And she looked like she still likes him.
Spoilers ahead! Sorry, I just had to talk a bit about the whole story ^^;;
This is so lolicon *heart* It really is a coincidence that I started watching Koi Kaze on the day DarkMirage links to sites like this. I think that Koi Kaze is a good example for a nice, realistic and earnestly romantic taboo love story. Even though there really is this huge age gap and they are real siblings without any “Oh, maybe you adopted”-kind of storyline, the strory sounds so ‘true’ in my opinion. Maybe it’s also because there are no really “typical” plot twists (like the mentioned adoption thingy), there’s attempts of sex and the whole story appears much more mature than, say, Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru.
Spoiler end.
Hach, I love the father with his Hitler moustache. How much I love this anime’s taboos XXXD He’s such a refreshing character… Yes, this is another reason why I liked this series: I love all the characters X-) And I also like the scenery and the old japanese style houses *_*
I’m so glad I have watched the next episode’s preview! (Even though it wasn’t a real “preview” at all…) Arr, it reminds me of Zettai Shounen - another slice of life, another comical, sketchy previews *g*
*sigh* Nanoka is cute *g* Especially the bento she made *hrr* It really will take her awhile to realize her feelings for him (and his for her!) *g*
Actually I’m wondering how the anime manages to cover up the 5 volumes when the pacing is so slow. In fact, theoretically it might work - Paradise Kiss was 12 episodes covering 5 volumes as well. But that one was very rushed as well towards the end. Maybe they’ll leave out some parts of the storyline.
Has Koushiro been such a jerk in the manga as well? I have forgotten that. Well, I hope they make up quickly as well (which means, by the end of the episode).
You see? Anime cannot go without cats!
All in all, I suppose this is an anime I will watch to the end without bigger problems… I don’t have to force myself to watch it at all. *_* For a long time, I didn’t even know there was an anime for Koi Kaze since nobody is talking about it. Did anybody of you actually watch it?

Early on, I say yes.
>>> Did anybody of you actually watch it?
Jeff Lawson’s old blog site has all the episode \s blogged.
I actually liked some of the changes they have introduced in the anime except for one thing; I will wait till the end to mention one change I didn’t like.

I actually have watched the anime till episode 6 now, I was just lazy to blog about it. Maybe I will end up writing a conclusion post without blogging the entirety of the anime after all. ^^;;;
