I claim more detailed show notes! At least I want to know where the music comes from. I don’t know any of these songs actually… But they are addicting and make me want to listen to ParaPara music. XD
So in short: This podcast wins already for the OP and ED *g*

I have no idea how lolikit actually came up with the idea of doing a podcast himself. (Maybe he wanted to regain t3h leadership of the channel again *hrr*) But I think, too, that the “official podcast” (that’s a name I gave it actually *cough cough*) was calling for a parody. It has become pretty popular - I think -, and for my tastes, it is way too serious. Even though seriousness is far from being a bad thing, I have the impression that popular serious stuff is always likely to get parodized. See politicians and good popular anime.

You know, these guys talking remind me a lot of a little conversation of 2 uni pals of mine who were randomly talking about how to become pirates… Full of insider jokes with me sitting in front of them giggling girlishly the whole time. Oh that was even in english! But I’m not that crazy to post the record I have done of it *arrrr*

The podcast was the first time that I’ve heard lolikit’s voice - which was pretty much of a surprise because it’s so deep *haha* Which is sexy. The depth, I mean. Loli’s voice actually isn’t because he tries to sound funny, not sexy. Thus his voice entertains me, but totally lacks of sex appeal. (Lolikit, try to seduce Pip a bit more next time! Didn’t you already announced yaoi and buttsex?) And what concerns Pip’s voice, I think everything is said. Arrrr!

I should finally say something serious about the content, right? But there’s a big error in this reasoning. Serious discussion about this podcast session is not possible and since my blog posts are all serious and/or fangirling, I have no competence in writing about it. But I’d like to note a little thing which made me laugh out loud.
There was this particular line: “How come Mushishi doesn’t have more explosions and tits?” - “That’s easy, it has mushis.” And then, they even continued talking a bit about mushis. To understand me, you have to know that the word “Muschi” in german (which is pronounced very similarily to the japanese “mushi”) is a very awkward expression for “pussy”. It even is a cat’s name.
That explains it all, I hope?

So all in all, I enjoyed it. In fact, I think it could be even shorter (like 15-20 minutes), but that’s because I nearly always think that fast pace and shorter stuff is good. Me loves short stories, basically never reads manga with more than 100 chapters, or watches anime with more than 26 episodes.

PS. @Milkmaster: You know what? You’ll love this podcast. They said trains are sexy.

PPS. Yes, talking to Pip on Skype really sounds like how lolikit described it. Just try it out for yourself.
