Taira… that name has a great ring to it. Taira from Beck definitely has found his way into my male ‘harem’ (yes, there also is a female one). My Taira looks better than this one though. *cough* But that’s not the point of this anime.
I disliked Akira (yes, kill me) and I never watched Steamboy (I guess I should), but I still got a rather positive impression of Katsuhiro Otomo, which is the reason I touched this series. I don’t really like his character designs, but the vehicles and mechas of this anime are a feast for the eyes. Not to speak about the backgrounds; the highways are teh style!
