I’m probably the biggest Touko fan on the world *hehe* In every single episode, I am looking out for screenshots of her. I’ve read in the Animesuki forums that she looks more “brattish” in the manga - I’m glad she got such a nice chara design in the anime.
Wow, I slowly understand why this anime is so popular in the fanscene. But then again, I am a sucker for slice of life series - and this is the first slice of life series I’ve seen that is this popular. The loli factor cannot be it: Ichigo Mashimaro wasn’t as far as popular. The atmosphere and the pace can’t be it either: Aria is popular, but hasn’t got its own Animesuki forum either. Maybe it’s the mix between atmosphere and loli that doesn’t appear in any other slice of life - on top that, Shouko is a little megane-loli! XD
I’m not pleased with my screenshots this time. For some reason I think they don’t capture the series’ atmosphere as well as the ones from episode 1. Is it because of the animation itself? I’m not sure.
Humm… in fact, I think that Asatte no Houkou is so boring that I can do many things at the same time while watching it: Chatting in the #ano channel, chatting with a friend and writing this commentary now. Amazing. I wonder if there is even one anime that’s more slow paced than this one.
After hearing so many good things about this series, I wonder if I will like it too. It seems to be a slice of life series after all, and as you can see, I like most of them *g*
Uh, the background “music” of the beginning is kinda weird. It’s supposed to be an idyllic landscape, yet there’s so much noise and no music at all O.o I rather dislike that actually. But the nice opening made up for it. It’s a pretty generic song, but okayish.
