Uh… is it normal that the first 4 minutes of this episode are a recap of the first 2(!!) episodes? It does not surprise me that nobody seems to watch Flag anymore XD
The best about this anime is still the cinematography. It really looks like cameras moving *____*
Slowly - now that the introduction hopefully is over, the story becomes more interesting as well. I just wish the characters would not talk that much, and do a little bit more *hrr* I still hate the character design… it reminds me of Tintin dans le Congo… These clichés! Aaah! Except for Shirasu, there is not one single sympathetic person in the whole anime ^^;;

Is it because of Shinsen’s translation (which somehow makes the dialogues not flowing) or is it because of the anime that I have the impression to get an overload of blabbering? What are they all talking for?
Talking is good, but too much talking is unnecessary. I have the impression they want to make the anime sound more intelligent by all that talk. Short, concise lines are the best.
The perspective through the camera is still interesting though. But I’m not sure whether I’d finish watching this…

I have watched the raw and liked what I saw, tj and Poufflon watched it and apparently like it as well… so I guess that the anime just has to be good.
The language of the translation is extremely annoying though. The structure of the sentences just is… unnecessarily completed, if you ask me. Clear and beautiful - this is how I like language. Apparently this sub is only worth to get what the anime more or less is about. (It doesn’t help that I find my sentences confusing today as well T_T I should not listen to Shadows Fall while writing postings…)
