Gankutsuô Ep.5-8

Crows Tachikoma!

After seeing the beauty of this AMV (my absolute favourite! *_*) I decided to finally pick up Gankutsuô again. By the way, I am totally into Incubus and “In Your World” is one of Muse’s best songs (it took me quite a few seconds to figure out which song i was).
The AMV contains a lot of spoilers, but in my case, it has arisen my interest in the series: it’s nice to see that Mercédès once was a true gypsy beauty and Eugénie is a character I can totally identify myself with.

Gankutsuou Ep.3&4

Oh my, I realized that I watched episode 3 and 4 without blogging about it!

It’s still mainly the eye candy that makes me continue to watch this anime… The scenery! The colours! The soundtrack! I wonder if there will be anything about the storyline that attracts my attention. If not, I would continue to prefer Ergo Proxy.

I dislike Gonzo’s Mercédès. Goddamn, why does she look so much like a slut? Basically I prefer every other woman over her.

Gankutsuou Ep.1&2

Oh my gosh, a new anime, I know I know! I have never seen pictures of it actually… and when I saw some today, I just couldn’t resist… the textures look so interesting! I was already wondering whether I’m really a style-focused person, because Ergo Proxy for instance rocks mostly because of the style and the atmosphere…

In fact, the story has been progressing very slowly so far, and it’s a pretty simple storyline. (I thought that the “choose a card and you save a person”-thingy pretty much cheesy and stupid - it’s nothing against Bokurano *hrr*) But I’m interested nevertheless. I love the story of Monte Cristo (I should finally read the book, argh!) and this adaptation looks nice so far. (These textures!)
